We have covered a lot of ground in this chapter. We discussed the basics of mounting different types of partitions found in image files. Some readers may have learned a little Python along the ways as we discussed how Python could be used to automate this process. In the next chapter we will discuss investigating the filesystem(s) mounted from your disk image.
